The Hultafors Hults Bruk Qvarfot Felling Axe is well suited to small-scale forestry work. The long shaft adds force to the striking action and the axe is also useful for splitting, bucking and processing wood.

The handle is made from American hickory and treated with linseed oil for increased durability.

Hand forged from Swedish quality steel, the head is struck 40–60 times to increase density and durability. With a convex grind cutting edge. The axe is supplied sharpened, polished and ready to use, in a leather axe sheath.

The blacksmith profession is a craftsmanship, a tradition often passed on from father to son through generations. This axe is named after one of the families who served as blacksmiths at Hults Bruk for generations, the Qvarfots.
